Domaine Ollier-Taillefer

AOP Faugères

Domaine Ollier-Taillefer is an historical estate from Faugères. Françoise, Luc and now Florent and Guilhem are the sixth generation elaborating wine in one of the most exquisite wine appellations in the South of France. The restricted area of production reflects the uniqueness of the land: a vineyard planted on altitude (300-400 m high), over a soil of schist-shale, 28hl/ha. The geothermic cellar built along the mountain rocks, its vegetal roof and the thick outside wall made from the same shell limestone as the Pont du Gard provide a natural air conditionning for optimal vinification and ageing.
