Pic St Loup : north of Montpellier, the appellation is located around two mountains facing each other, the Pic St Loup and the Hortus mountain, creating a specific micro-climate. The combination of clay and limestone over fine layers of earth, strong northern winds and few powerful rains provide conditions for a particular expression of the wines, wines with density and full-bodied expression within an elegant shape.

Faugères. Seven villages, one soil type, the schist (shale), altitude between 250 and 400m high. The schist made of a breakable structure lets the roots spread easily and provides a natural freshness to the wines. In Fos (top Easten side of the appellation) where the estate is located, the green oaks forests are surrounding the vineyards.  The benefits of the altitude and the rich endemic flora that includes wild medicinal plants feeds the wine aromatic complexity.

Minervois is sitting on the Black Mountain, looking into the mediterranean sea. The last of the Atlantic winds are blowing their fresh air into the western side of the appellation while the Seawind is stronger on the east side. Geologically inherited from the spread of the black mountain into the plain, sandstone, clay and limestone contribute to the diversity and character of the wines. Our estate benefits from the cool winds of the western foothills of the mountain.

Fitou, the southernmost Languedoc appellation is spread over two areas. The inland part is sitting over the south Corbières mountains, looking at the Pyrenees while the seaside part is bathing in the mediterranean. Our estate, 5 km from Roussillon is looking towards the Canigou mountain, surrounded by the Tauch mount (920m) and the Vingrau cliff. The soils is made of round pebbles and clay.

The Roussillon is framed to the north by the Corbières mountains, West and South by the Pyrenees range and east, by the sea. Three main rivers, the Agly, le Tech and la Têt. Known for holding all the soils which can be found in the world of wine, both in the Old world and the New world, the Roussillon displays an immense variety of profiles. Three major areas are reflected in our wines, offering a solid range of seaside, mountain foothill and inland soils.
